Recently the government passed a massive stimulus plan to keep the economy going. Part of this plan included the Paycheck Protection Program. The Paycheck Protection Program is a government-backed loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll.
Lawmakers had allocated $349 billion to the PPP as part of the $2 trillion stimulus bill that Congress passed in March, but these funds were quickly exhausted. Now, thousands of loan applications are in limbo as Congress decides what to do next.
This situation reminds me we all have an invaluable resource replenished daily. We all start our day with the same amount of time in our “time banks,” 24 hours. Some of us use the time wisely, while others squander the opportunity.
Time is priceless because it’s something we will never get back, yet there’s so much we can do with it. Do the most with what you have every day because you don’t know when your time bank will eventually run out of funds.
Daily Directive:
Read:
Read and meditate on John 9:4 for yourself. What do these verses say to you? Meditate on it, memorize it, do whatever it takes for it to sink in.
Pray:
Take the challenge of cataloging just one day of your life. Write down everything you do. Journal the journey. Be real. Be honest.
Meditate / Make It Real:
What does your day look like? How are you making the most of your 24 hours? Share this with a fellow brother and have them hold you accountable.
