I have this trusty headlamp I use for many things. The reason I bought this in the first place was mainly for camping. This headlamp sits conveniently on my head lighting up the path of dark trails whenever I need to walk at night.

The light provides a comforting feeling in the dark as it lights up every detail of my path. It protects me from possible dangers and also allows me to freely use my hands. Without out it, I’d be lost. The only thing it does not do well is light the path too far ahead of me. The light’s power comes is using it in proximity, not distance.

The bible says this is how it is with God. He works best when we walk step by step with him, because in this proximity he clearly lights the way for us in the darkness.
