Make the most of your “in-between” life to reap the rewards.

t seems to me that we’re living in a world of extremes. Whether it’s left vs. right, hustle until you drop dead, or sit back and reap the rewards of passive income, these people tell us we need to be either full on or off. This idea of extremes isn’t only confined to thinking. It also applies to lifestyles.

You either have the most luxurious collectible or nothing at all. For example, I read an article claiming that some luxurious watch brands couldn’t keep up with the rising demand for their products. Consequently, this resulted in skyrocketing prices for their timepieces.

Upon seeing this, many would-be purchasers have become frustrated and disenchanted with the idea of purchasing luxury watches. So much so that they’ve abandoned the idea of buying watches altogether.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed countless men beaten and demoralized by both extremes, me included. Striving to be at the very top can be frustrating, but so is not doing enough. I believe both extremes are not good. However, I think that in-between is an excellent place to be.

Living in-between means we need to embrace what God has for us and do the best with it. Scripture tells us to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to each of us. Good stewardship is the practical and effective use of our gifts, talents, skills, and resources for His glory.

If you think about it, many of our struggles come from self-centeredness rather than God-centered. We place our desires or comfort ahead of what God wants to do in us and through us. As a result, we feel that life is always a struggle, or some decide to give up.

Fret not, as there’s a better way to approach life. When we use what we have for the glory of God, we will find fulfillment and perfect balance in our life. Also, seeking first His kingdom comes with its rewards as well.

Although we may not fully see it now, we live between the material world and the eternal. Therefore, you must make the most of your “in-between” life because one day, you will reap the fruit of your persistence and reward for your faithfulness. These rewards will be crowns of glory, which we will all humbly lay down at His feet.
