The other day my friend and FX3® brother Jesus came over the house to pick something up. As he rode up to the driveway and dismounted his bike, it looked practically new despite being a few years old.

As we caught up on events and other things, I commented about how great his motorcycle looked. It was fully loaded and seemed like a blast to ride from the graphite gray color scheme, accessories, to the engine set-up and more. I then asked him how long he’d owned it.

“Funny story,” he replied. “I bought it about four years ago in Colorado and shortly after, was deployed, so it sat in storage. Last year I went back up to take her out and rode it down here to Florida. That was one of many great rides I’ve had.”

“There’s so much to her, and I’m finally able to start using her to her fullest potential. She’s awesome.”

Jesus’ story reminds me we all have something more powerful with the ability to take us many more places, God’s word. Yet, many of us are content, putting the bible on a shelf, in a drawer, or away in storage. However, when you take it out, read it, study it, and commit to applying it, you’ll discover the greatest adventures of your life.
